Anything that would be useful by us? I see Texas Instraments but I dont know what they could be giving out for free, they're list of ICs is mind boggling.

on the minty mp3 player site they have a list of sites that give out all kind of free samples

the sites in that list cover a huge range of parts from eeproms to voltage regulators. Also, the molex site would be a good place to find battery connectors ;)

TI has some usefull products, especially when talking about DC-DC converters. They have some high efficiency stuff. Fairchild hives free samples, but you have to pay the shipping.

BTW, I got my 3 TI samples at school today. The 3 samples would've cost over $40 if TI hadn't payed for the parts and shipping.
