Cannot take it anymore!!!

Post by G-force »

The beeping, AGH! AGH! :x It's horrible!Image

Okay, let me explain. You know those little LCD McDonalds toys they give out in happy meals? Well my brothers decided to collect about 20-30 of them. Then they spread them allover the room! And some of them were turned on, so now I hear an occasional "beep-beep!" coming from some unknown place. And I can't pinpoint it since my hearing is off due to me being sick (congested, sore throat.). Every time I hear a beep I can't help but clinch my teeth. It's like those things they sell on the internet to drive people nuts.

I've found one so far. I promptly smashed it with my mighty hammer. I think there's only one more to find. When I do, I can finally stop playing nonstop music over the beeping.

Curse you McDonalds! I know you're trying to get to me, but I'll find the damn thing and destroy it!

Sorry to complain, but I had to warn you guys about how evil these things are. I think I even saw one watching me in the shower. Don't let them into your house.[/url]

I have an idea what your going through. A kid in one of my classes was playing the windows "dong" over and over in WMP... for 5 minutes straight. I only thank god I brought my head phones with me so I could drain out the sound.

Bic's Home McToy Remedy

1. Get sledgehammer
2. Wail on game thing with sledgehammer
3. Repeat until healed

Yeah those things are annoying as sin. Plus there's only a couple springs that conduct the sound, and there's no way to muffle it effectively. What I usually do is take it apart and either short out or remove the springs. But the sledgehammer is more fun.

Or gather them all up, put them in a box, and either stuff them in the back of the closet or drop them out the window or something.

Beeping is annoying. :x

Hey why not turn them into a practical joke? Find someone and put one of these things like under their car seat or in a wheel well (use duct tape). They'll likely go nuts if they end up in rush hour traffic listening to those incessent beeps.

That isn't anywhere close to the 'water dripping' instantaneously on yourself or the drip noise anywhere.

See if you can sleep on the couch until the sickness or beeping passes :)

Funny you should say that, it was actually in his room, but I could still hear it perfectly since I live in the opposite side of the room wiht only a 15-20 foot distance inbetween.

And yeah, they would make a great little revenge (er, i mean practical joke!) device. I'll have to keep that in mind.

Good hiding places:

-Stick a few under his mattress
-in the space under the bottom dresser drawer
-scattered under the bed
-tape them on top of the ceiling fan blades
-Two words: Heating. Duct.
-mixed in with the socks
-dark, odd inaccessible places like behind the bookshelf

Throw them against brick wall, repeat until smashed. By far one of the most fun and stress releveing things to do.

How about the Chinese water torture? Duct tape him to his bed and drip water right between his eyes
