Rap & Hip Hop

Alright before you guys go saying "Rock* is better!" (* insert genre here) Anybody listen to old school rap and hip hop? I'm talking about artists here not bling blingers. Like run dmc or a tribe called quest. What do you guys think about that type of music.

I like old school rap a lot better than the new stuff personally I am rock and metal fan but I still like some rap and hip hop and the old stuff is a helluva lot better than the new stuff.

Honestly I like old school rap more then modern, and hip hop.... I like some, that is to say I listen to 1% of all the hip hop songs out there. The reason I like old school rap more is that its a story. They dont yammer on about "I've got a jillion dollars, 99 hoes and drive a Hummer". Thats garbage! Hip hop... is alright I guess, I only listen to walk insterest me and thats not something I can really break down into a specific example.

Yeah, I listen to old hiphop when im working out. Its just like I have tons of energy all of a sudden.

I listen to Sir Mix A lot, DJ Kool, Fatman scoop, and Kriss Kross. I also like Notorious B.I.G.
