Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder did it. The keyboard is laid out in scales, with the black half-note keys in a pattern of 2-3-2-3-2-3. The key directly to the left of a 2 pattern is C, IIRC.

Beethoven composed his greatest work after he lost his hearing (from lead poisoning I think). He held a wooden stick in his teeth and rested the other end on the piano. The vibration generated by the piano went up the stick, through his teeth and bones, and into his ear bones.

actually, most composers can hear music in their head just by reading it, so there have probably a bunch of deaf people "listening" to music ...

well its more just their stuff that wasnt released. pople only buy it because they are dead, but that doesnt really make sense. Do people feel bad for them, because they died, so they feel they should buy their music?
