Audio Ripping

Post by sam »

So. I have eddie murphy delerious, and robin williams live on broadway... Is there any ways I can separate the audio from the video, so I could say... put it on an ipod (space issues, yeah I know it has video now). So any ideas?

Create a line between your speaker output and the microphone input, then hit play and record.

yes, get a hold of the program Cool Edit, and you can open up video files and edit the sound (as in cut paste etc.)

not sure if you can do that straight from DVD, if not, then you'll have to rip to your computer in the form of a avi then do it.

or just select the line out of the recording controls (under Volume control)
then manually record the audio from the playing dvd on your pc to Cool edit or any other audio recording program you may have.

or venture to doom9.org i think they have some information on this...

I dont know if you can do this in other programs, but my Video Delux by Magix can. You just import the video, ungroup it from the video and then you can either remove the audio or the video.

Outside the video editors by Magix or Pennical I dont konw much. So I cant really help you too much.
