Adult Oriented Programming on G4

At 23 and married I may have a different perspective on this but I wanted to get your opinions. I know "The Man Show" has recently began airing onf G4 and this morning, while doing homework, I was watching "Attack of the Show" and they were teaching drinking games. How many of G4's viewers are legally able to drink? If I wanted drinking games and "girls on trampolines" I would watch another channel. Is anyone else annoyed with this recent trend?

i am, g4 is aimed at the 18-24 male college moron sports gamer niche. i freaking miss techTV, only good shows on G4 are call for help, xplay, and cinematech

Well I've never seen it. I don't realy care to after seeing waht people said about it on the forums here. It sounds like SpikeTV's VGA awards last year

I posted this morning but when the Server went down it deleted it or something. Yeah I only watch G4 when eating breakfast, Call for Help is usually on then so thats about all I watch. The History Channell is my favorite channel

Lets see you dont like "girls on trampolines" im no psycologist but that doesnt seem quite right to me.

Lets see you dont like "girls on trampolines" im no psycologist but that doesnt seem quite right to me.

He's saying that a show for "video games" shouldn't have girls on trampolines. They should be on another channel and have G4 be video game only again. They've just sold out the past year or so...Fastlane, Street Fury, The Man Show, etc.

Look at what demographic they are going for... males 14-30ish. From an advertising standpoint, doesnt the man show seem logical?

You know appealing to the Gamer Demographic isnt a bad thing, just the way their doing it. I dont like those guys that review games and accessories (you know who I'm talking about), their retarts. X-Play's enough for me of that.

They put in all this stuff that I'm more irritated about gaming then I ussually am. They've become the new MTV, and if your not agreeing with them your not a gamer. Not to mention the whole hype of the Xbox 360... Makes me want to just smash of their heads in. They system isnt looking that awsome, its not offering anything new (like HD-DVD or Blueray movie playback).

About the only shows I watch are the once were they talk about the history of a game, company or indestry. And now Call For Help, at least that gives me somthing enjoyable to watch because I'm a computer geek. Thats appealing to me, The Man Show is nice if your bord out of your mind and there is nothing better on. I've seen it before nothing new.

I really hope Comcast and G4 realize they've just screwed themself (hard without lube) destroying a networ that brought in ratings they can never achieve with the garbage they're putting out.

I somewhat like'd TechTV, and G4. It seems that they have merged all of the crap shows into one puke flavor'd network. If i want to see hot chicks on a trampolene, i would get mine and call some friends. Im not one for blaming the media for the corruption of youth (i blame the parents) but I have to admit, using unblanaced whoremones (pun intended) and adult (age 18 and older, not porn) oriented shows on a network thats supposed to be about games and technology is just wrong.

Attack of the show can chew my man rod, xplay can suck salt acid, and the man show should be put on a different network... its not a bad show, its just misplaced. I dont find it THAT intresting, some of its funny, but the rest of it is titties. And frankly, if i wanna see titties, nothing beats the real thing... not HD Compliant 740x480 contrast enhanced boobs.

yeah, G4 sucks....I used to have it, but now I just have basic cable (actually....not even that, just 23.5 channels

Man, what was once a great tech channel has brought itself to try and draw all the shut-ins out of their bedrooms (or basements or doghouses, whatever the case may be) with softcore pr0n.

Sad.

This makes me glad I don't gat it, never have gotten it, and never will get it (unless it's in a package deal with a really good channel).
