Damnit I wanted to put the story on digg, I'm not exactly tickled pink that I was beated to it after I was expecting to wait til Wensday. I'm almost to the point I want to kill to get a front page story on digg... And I do mean kill.

So this doesnt happen again why not all of us wait 24 hours after the time Ben posts the thread that we go out and make the story public to the rest of the world. Would that work for everyone?

Look, nobody's getting banned, exept those who complain. As for the death threats, Im pretty sure that really not appropiate on the boards... Yeah, he made a mistake, but it dosnt matter, everyone makes mistakes.

And as I said. He is not getting banned - he made a mistake, he said he was sorry. Story over. If I had mod power over this forum Id clean all the "ban t3h n00b" posts out, but since I dont, someone else is going to have to.

Yeah, not terribly thrilled it got leaked. People will come to my site and not see anything about it and wonder "what the heck?"

I'm been super busy the last day, and will be today, so the story won't go live until later tonight at the earliest.

If it says not to leak it, please respect that. Otherwise I may be disinclined to have sneak peaks on this forum at all.

Wow, I have so busy lately that I missed this amazing project. Excellent work Ben, excellent work! The wood finishing definitely made me enjoy this work of yours even more. Congradulations again to you! =)

@ Jeff: What do I say? $**t happens...I just had to throw my 2 cents in there. An honest mistake at that. Don't feel bad though, I tried to make a joke at Luc. once, but he took it the wrong way and hey...I got flamed for a bit there.

Maybe, just maybe I should hang on to my operating 800XL.Complete with plotter, modem, about 25 gamee cartridges and no telling how many floppies....

First of all, Congratulations Ben !!

This are the coolest project in the Atari 8 Bit scene in too many years, and the machine looks very professional and pretty.

Only a thing you don't do and can be the "cherry" ... the Stereo Output !

I see the screen and it has two speakers... then, why not get true stereo !

The Stereo Modification is pretty simple, just need another pokey chip and some resistors, etc.

Another thing is make a memory expansion

but the Stereo sound is more "handy".
