I am a portable/modder gamer. I keep both my PSP and my SNESp by me a lot (though not my SNESp since it stopped working)

I'm a pixelante (I have a handful of games for a handful of systems, but I also have a life.

One of my classmates begs his parents for every game in existence, and they buy it for him. His folks sometimes have to buy 3 or 4 games for him a week (because he gets really violent if things don't go his way

) so they wind up skimping on groceries and stuff! And he's basically a shut-in. Is that on the list?

I'm also a classic and thieving gamer. (I have files on my compy for Atari 2600 games and stuff, and I have an arseload of DOS abandonware games from Home of the Underdogs.

Ah... Z26 does it for me. I'm glad I'm not the only one downloading DOS games from HOTU! Nice to see someone with similar tastes

I am a Classic/Portable/Collection/Fan-boy/Organized gamer

I don't own anything newer than an N64, I will hopefully finish my SNESp soon, I have games that I bought just to collect them (I will beat them eventually), I think Nintendo is the best even though I collect GG and SMS games, and finally I am oober organized

And I don't get to play that often, I am still in the process of beating some N64 games that I bought 4 years ago, so thats how little I play and also why I don't have a next gen system.

None of those really describe me. I could be considered hardcore, because I play video games every day. or maybe portable, since I like my GBA over everything. Or how about collector? I rarely get rid of my games, unless they really suck. I also obess over a few games until I complete the story or get stuck. And I guess I'm somewhat 'power-button gamer', but I only ever do this if I play against a boss tons of times (10+), get nowhere close to beating them, and turn it off and go do something else to calm down (I am easily frustrated).

[E] Add me to helpless gamer too, since I have some troubles against ToS bosses (coincidently, ToS generally is the game that makes me a 'power button gamer') and a few other things (entrance to the cave in Yoshi's Island.. location of a few stars in Super Mairo 64..)

And organized gamer, too. I have my GCN, PS2 and Xbox games set by themselves, listed in alpabetical order. Don't do it with my GBA or DS game, since for a efw of my GBA games, I'm missing the box and I only have a few.

I've also imported several games, but not quite enough to become a Kekekeke Kawaii Gamer.

I could alos fall into the Tetris category. ^^

tetris/hardcore/new gen (sadly) i LOVE tetris, play games all the time, and only got my first console in 2002

i did get my game boy in like 1997 though..

I am a FPS gamer. That's about all I ever play. I try other game occasionally, but I lose interest quickly and end up on on my PC replaying Call of Duty for the 1000th time. And by the way, a good FPS on the PC is 10 times better than any game they make for Xbox.

Here is pretty much all I play (in no order):
Call of Duty
Medal of honor Allied Assault
Painkiller
Doom 3
Unreal Tournament 2003 (LAN and bots, since my internet connection is not to hot)
Unreal Tournament
Goldeneye (N64 and emulated on PC)
Misc. non first person shooters.

I've played all those consitently and I still haven't shot anyone in real life.... Imagine that. Some one should tell Jack Thompson.

-hardcore: i play whatever has good games, regardless of twhat console
-Theving GAmer: parents won't let me get SNES so i emulate it
-portable gamer: i like to portablize
-single game gamer: i used to play only Legend of dragoon until i beat it
-modder: i mod what i can, whether i need to or not
-Messy Gamer: where's the floor? i can't find it...
-Speed gamer: i beat Zelda OOT in 4 days

Thieving Gamer (mainly to play those rare hard to find games and see if one is worth buying)

Classic Gamer - Nothing like playing secret of mana, keith courage, ninja gaiden, etc on it's original console.

I dislike "the helpless gamer". That drives me nuts to see these kids spend $50 on a new game, just to look up a code, finish it...and female of the dog species saying that the game was too easy and boring!!! O_o
