Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2. Unless you don't like Star Wars then I suggest Battlefield 2

Im definitly getting battlefront 2. I played battlefront 1 at my friends house, and it was wicked cool, so battlefront 2 should be even better. I like it because its like a third person shooter, but you can use machines, shuch as the AT-At, and snow speeder as well. The jedi part should make it really awesome. The online part should be cool too.

my ALL TIME FAVORITE is Rainbow Six 3... its so much fun, and the characters are somewhat realistic, and its an all-around good game.

I have a question regarding connecting my ps2 to the internet wirlessly:
If I wanted to connect it wirelessly, all I would need would be an internet connection, a wireless router (like from linksys, and then a wireless game adapter, like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Linksys-WGA11B- ... dZViewItem right?
I dont need the official ps2 network adapter do I?

I'm pretty sure you do, unless you have the smaller PS2 (which has built in ethernet) All that does is take a standard ethernet port and connects it to a wireless point

gamer2: Nope, its on xbox, ps2 and PC, just like battlefront 1. They wouldnt have a game on a few systems, and then have its sequel on only one of them.
Darth Fett: Im getting battlefront 2 for christmas (I cant wait!), along with a network adapter, and hopefully a psp.
Oh well, I guess I wont go wireless then. Ethernet cable is wicked cheap anyways. I just wanted an excuse to get wifi in my house, so that I could go on the internet on my psp in my room (my parents probably wouldnt allow that). I dont know if my parents will buy my wanting to get a PS2 network adapter and a wireless router, and then conviently forgetting that the PS2 network adapter didnt have built in wireless. I would then buy an ethernet cable, and then conviniently not having the "time" to send back a $35 router, and also not disconnect it. Its a kind of a fishy excuse. I wish I lived in a neighbor hood, bacause then maybe I could borrow someone elses wifi.

Just thought I'd mention that a wireless connection will cause lag. If I take my connection via ethernet through my router, I can get about 1.2Mbps(1.3 through modem), but with wireless I average about 750Kbps. Sometimes it's about 900Kbps late night with lttle interference, and about 600Kbps when there's a lot of people on wireless connections and a fair amount of static interference.

Sounds good. It seems like tis going to be pretty popular. I was in best buy today, and they had a display of it (they had the slogan from the Apprentise, if anyone saw that). It was a cool display. They had those cool Rocker chairs which are wicked comfortable for gamn', but like $80, two huge speakers and a 52" plasma. The game was pretty fun, but I only played it for about 5 minutes. Its one of those games that you dont really have to know how to play, but its still fun, even if your really bad. The graphics were better than the first battlefront Id say.
