I have 1350 songs taking up like 6.8 or 6.9GB.
And I was shocked to find my 200GB drive only holds 186. No matter, it holds my 90GB (trimmed down from like 105, still must delete some more) of anime shows/mini-series/movies and cartoons and crap.
custom pc problems. again. again.

Only difference really is the performance with the hdds. SATA is much faster and more reliable than IDE plus, you can do more tasks at a given time then IDE.
Edit: I've been looking around, and what's a good SMALL mobo for these projects? I'm looking into emulation, office work, and browsing really...nothing fancy here. Thanks!
Secondly, how the heck are you connecting a battery to this thing?

It's a regular pc, not portable. A good mini mobo is in the portable pc thread, though.
EDIT: Got an SATA HD, now on the first screen (which displays for 1/100000th of a second) It 'sees' the HD, but then it does the black screen thing. Tech support say: "Well, since it is 3rd mobo you've had with this problem (of course wrong), there is nothing more we can do for you than tell you to see a qualifyed technician" Then they hung up on me.

Toto...is the operating system on there? Also, try booting a live cd. If that works...then it can simply be a corrupt file on the hdd for the windows operating system you are putting up.
