Why do you want Dev Systems? Unless its an oddball system like virtualboy, you really dont need a special Dev System. Tell me what consoles u wanna dev for, I can tell you what u need and where to look.

I hear DC is the cheapest you can find but you will need special DISCs available through Sega

You just can't walk in Sega America and say, "Hey, do you guys have some GDROMS?"

You know all you have to do is be able to make the game. Versions 0 and 1 read CD-Rs so not having any GD-Rs or GD-ROMs isnt that big a deal.

...CD holds half as much data as a GD-ROM... some people might think thats a bit limiting.

Its going to be a little hard getting the dev systems for Xbox, PS2 or GC. Developers need to agree to a "non-disclosure" or "gag" and they arent allowd to sell the dev hardware. Hell, some places wont even allow you to get near it if you arent in the right department. You will have to waint until the consoles completely DIE. 100% never going to be sold at all what so ever again, like the DC and Vboy.

Ive seen the some dev system for the cube. It has a 1.4GB flash based disk system instead of the GC-DVD system.

The xbox has a clear-green case and controllers, and a special bios. Local games tores sell the controllers, you can get the case online, and pop in a modchip with the development bios on it and there you go... Dev-Xbox.

I never got a chance to see an actual PS2 Dev system, so I cant tell you anything about it.

As for N64, good luck! Those have been gone for a long time now.
