New Portable Complete!!! pics

Post by LG64 »

Here's my new portable complete with chrome guitar knob - for volume, hip gear screen, sega 6-button controller - attached or can be removed to play holding only the controller, cord holder - to hide wrapped up cord, cord clip - to clip the remainder of the cord to the side on the unit, 2 player option, 4 speakers and headphone jack (powered by 9 volt battery), and a classic green LED light!! It's my first portable I think it turned out great. It was easier than I thought and went way quicker than I thought too. I call it the Sega G-NE-IS Portable Arcade. Here are some pics showing other small details I did...

Looks nice. One thing is try to get more light when you take pictures next time, its a little hard to see details. Otherwise a very nice Radica Genesisp (MDp for you outside the U.S.A).

Thanks, I put four speakers on it cause I could and it's not a radica it's a genesis 2. The speakers, screen and controller are attached to what is normally the bottom of it, this plays cartridges and like I said above it also has 2 player option and if you wanted you could use the 32x with it too and other converters or accessories. The picture quality shows what I wanted and is fine by me. My next project will be great I know it, need parts first though.

LG64: great stuff! I'll tell you my first mod of the CDX was real crap compared to that...only after 10 months does mine look decent at all heh. I love what you did with the logos and the "Sega LCD." I put a "welcome to the next level" sticker on my first CDX prototype. It's always fun to make it look more Sega related :)

Lemon Juice- I love your quote, isn't that from back to the future? Nice portables too...
