hmm, i think you are slightly mistaken. Ecstacy or MDMA even, are in no way similar to Methamphetamine. Completely different chemicals. They may have some similar effects (see LSD/Psilocybin/Mescaline), but you can't say it is just poorly made ecstacy.nos_slived wrote:Meth comes in many forms, but is really just poorly made ectasy. A lot of dealers sell meth as a cheap substitute for ectasy, but it is a lot worse for you. Meth overdoses are one of the more common causes of drug related deaths.
Actually THC is the best cure for asthma (which is proven), and it is even better because it is all natural.MilkMonster wrote:My freshman year I was all into pot and stuff. But after a while I just stoped because it didnt really feel that good and it was sorta pointless, plus I have asthma (I think thats how its spelt) so smoking dosent help that too much.
actually an ounce on average is $250 USD. If you are paying $150 you either have a very generous dealer, or some crap mexican grass.cennar wrote:yeah they always have smokes... lol i dont somke cigarettes and i never will, remember kids its what you want to do not wether or not its "right" cus pot has never clamed a life. it takes more than 6 bails of weed to OD, that means you need opver 6tons of weed in a pipe all at once... not ever going to happen not to bill gates not any one. an ounce is about 150, think about how much that is!!! and if it was addictive you still wouldnt push down a stranger for a toke. its just not that kind of high. but meth is the problem meth and coke, how do we get coke? cokcaine is every ware and after recent US ocupations in south america Drug running has sky rocketed. pritty insane. did you know that the german millitary developed MEth? do you know that you grow it out of pores on your skin if you have enough of it, you need to smoke a light bulb, and its made of house hold cleaners. alcohal is pritty bad too, its a poision plane and simple. why not breath quick start or Wd40? a lot of ilegal durgs are ok, and a lot more legal ones are deadly, pain killers of all kinds legal put holes in your brain and operate on effective brain damage. mushrooms stay in your body for a day and leave pritty uneffected, but its a lot of work for your liver for the first few times and can cause pritty bad stomac achs.
and what the hell are you even talking about? Most of that information isn't very factual or punctual. Learn to spell.

This topic might be straying into not-to-friendly zones...
Beating up kids, ball-touching and the like aren't really things I dig on my forums, so tone it down please. That said I've heard meth is the new "drug of death" or whatever.
Cennar will love this - Personally I think they should just make weed legal (since TONS of people smoke it anyway) and therefore cut down on law enforcement costs, prison costs, litigation costs and, heck, a lot of costs. Then we'd have a new cash crop for our farmers, plus they could tax it and use the money for, well whatever they use the zillions they must make on cigarette tax for. Plus maybe it'd eat into the use of these other "worse" drugs.
Seriously, pot smoking is probably right up there with "file-sharing" as the (usually) unprocescuted illegal thing done by the most number of people. Can you imagine if the government started a "War on Downloads"? How stupid would that be? Same thing.
Booze kills, it's legal. Cigarettes kill, probably even more than booze, it's legal. Hell cars kill and they're legal too.
I find it ironic that the powers that be (or just the media maybe) is pushing all this anti-smoking stuff yet some towns and states are themselves pushing PRO weed laws. It makes the mind reel...
They banned smoking in bars/restaurants here in Madison and ALREADY it's slowly getting repealed - probably because it was passed by people who don't smoke OR go to bars. Face it surgeon general - a LOT, and I mean A LOT, of people smoke.
We will NEVER become a society filled with vice-less robots. If we try to create one we get the 1920's all over again and organized crime to supply those with vices.
Crap I've probably just opened a can of worms.

Well, also remember that it is the individuals who make the "drugs or no drugs" choice. Nobody forces hootch down children's throats. (AFAIK...
)
In Boston they made it illegal to smoke in public buildings like resteraunts and bars, and I myself support this. I do not like having someone sitting ten feet away from me in the Olive Garden smoking away as my ravioli with meatballs seems less and less appetizing. There is no magic barrier between the "smoking" and "non-smoking" sections of the resteraunt, the stench just propogates throughout the building.
I'm not saying drugs and liquor and stuff should be illegal in the USA. If someone wants to smoke they can do it outside where it mixes with the stench of vehicle exhaust and the McDonald's next door. People can go and smoke to their heart's content for all I care, I just don't want to be near it. (besides with the prices lately, someone who's a heavy smoker would pay up to an average CAR PAYMENT every month on something that will just burn away.) And if all this was outlawed, it would be probation all over again; there would be speakeasies everywhere!
Alcohol can kill, and it often does. One drink every so often is OK, but a heavy alcoholic will cause some major damage to their nervous system. But it's the combination of cars and alcohol that I believe causes the most deaths. If people were only a bit more responsible.
So really the choice is up to you. And whatever choice you make, good for you. Just don't pressure anyone into doing drugs, and don't get pressured into them either. Make your own path in life.
(Bear in mind I'm too young to legally drink or smoke in the US. The only beer I've had is of the A&W Root variety.
and smoking, IMO, is disgusting, so I avoid people who smoke and all that stuff. Lighters are good for candles and campfires and concerts (for waving in the air) and softening plastic and stuff, though.)

which brings me to our next point... cell phones, it is statistically proven that people who use a cellphone while driving are JUST AS LIKELY to cause an accident as a drunk driver, statistics show that cell phones were involved in a nearly equal ammount of accidents that ended in the death of the driver or a passenger/pedestrian as drunk drivers, and the laws against cell phone use in cars are weak at best, cellphones have their place, just not behind the wheel. and i for one would be all for doubling the price of cigarettes to hmmm, lets say 10$ a pack. i hate the fact that my mom smokes and am tring to get her to quit asap, i figure she quits we have a lot more money free, do the math, if you were to smoke a pack a day, average abour 3$ a pack thats about 1100$ a year on cigarettes.

I have to admit, that almost makes sense. Although everybody would be stoned then. Not sure how good that would be.
Japanese: "Hey. We are here to invade and destroy you."
Us: "Coooooool mannnn....."
I don't know the effects of weed or any other drug since I am homeschooled and therefore pretty sheltered from that stuff. I do know smoking sucks though!
