Hi.Can i power a psOne portable(handbuilt) with something like AAbatteries?Theres no way i'll ever be able to afford a camcorder battery. :oops:

Yea, with rechargables that is. Check G-Force's site and the PSONEp for specs. I powered mine with a 7.2V RC car battery. Really, really easy. :)

I found a 9.6v rc car battery pack.Can i use that without frying my psOne?

you can buy a special Psone battery pack for about $20 (7.2v). It even has a charger, and led charging light built in.

Yep you sure can, if fact thats what mine will use... Once i get the video working. The PSone has a 7805 regulator on the motherboard so anything up to 35v can be pumped in.

Yeah I have some 9.6 volt batteries around my house I think I'll go to radioshack and get a battery plug this weekend so I can start on my psonep. The only thing is I'm not allowed to shop online and locally there is no places that have cheap 3mm white leds so I'm gonna have to wait on the screen mod on mine. Good luck with yours Darth.

Nevertheless, the rechargables last faster than anything. Alkalines just die quick, really, really quick, especially for a PSONE.
