Yeah he did say that emulation = ************ but he obviously has an emulator or he would never have bought Neo Turf Masters so I still think he should do it. And besides you don't have to use it for emulation you could play PC games on it. If there is an ultimate system I think that would have to be it you can emulate most classic systems play your PC games surf the internet and view the benheck.com forums on one portable machine I mean how much better could it be.

Ha ha ha ha! Only some of you are on target! Ah the suspense...
Remember it's what I, as in ME, considers to be an ultimate portable. That's a clue... Besides I also gave very specific hints in the homepage post. If you're a HUGE fan of the system I'm doing you'd get them and know.
As for emulation... Sure I said - that - but also. It has a place. It IS a good way to experience games you'd never try in real life.

Ben told me a long time ago his plans for the Ultimate Portable System and swore me to secrecy. I can tell you that making it is a very ambitious project, and should he succeed (which I have no doubt he will) I just hope I have enough cash to get one myself.
I will say this: you'll never guess what it is!

WOW YOU ARE STILL ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! So where have you been all this time? I just posted a post trying to find out where you and some of the guys from back in the day went. I think you have been gone for over a year or something. Welcome Back

So I am thinking it is the Atari 800 laptop but has anyone gotten the "very specific hints in the homepage" I have been looking around on it today and have no found any, well if I found a hint I have not realized it yet.benheckc wrote:Ha ha ha ha! Only some of you are on target! Ah the suspense...

I have all the parts case, all the wires attached, and will start assembling it this week, hopefully have it done by the weekend.
It shouldn't be TOO hard to guess, some of you have got it right. It is easily the most complex (and longest going) portable project I've done, even besting the PS2p.
It'll be cool! I MIGHT sell it, but it'd be A LOT.

which makes me believe even more that it's the Atari laptop. You would have a hard time selling it, with your connection to the Atari 800 (IIRC) and it would be a really complex thing to make (with the keyboard and all)
