Well no "juice" last night. Seems I have something wrong.

I can tell that the resistor is getting power because the thing got damn hot. Just no lights. I did set it down and it seemed to flicker for a second, but still really nothing.

I'll go back tonight and check on the wiring of the positive ...

LCD still looked fine? No cracks or anything along the edges? Did you use to correct resistor? If you are, try swapping it out with another resistor just to make sure its not a defective resistor. Everything grounded correctly?

Ok, I will start a new thread tonight about this screen with my pictures of the tear down. I just wanted to let everyone know....I just completed the white LED mod on this screen and it works perfect.

The wiring isnt identical, but if you are going to build a portable anyway, you already know how ...

Yup. Its the exact same guts. I just got done tearing it down. I will be starting a new thread with very detailed pictures here later tonight. :)

It seems to be cheaper buying this screen brand new than it is to bid on eBay for a used PsOne screen. haha.

On the AC adapter also...its says:

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I've been reading the forum for a while now, just finally registered.

Anyway, I just bought a couple of these monitors from my local Best Buy here in TX. They were on sale for $49.99. I'll be ripping it apart in the next day or so, to see if we can use them or ...
