Did anyone ever have the scenario that the hacked portable SNES
has sound BUT NO video?

Well I do now...and I really need help as my SNES portable is a project for a robotics/circuitry class (we get to choose what to do)

What exactly is RF interference (like were does it emanate or originate from?)

what are the traditional 'symptoms' from getting RF interference?
(for SNES if I need to be more specific)

and lastly, what can I do to prevent RF interference?

Ok...having been frustrated with this problem for awhile, I decided to desolder and resolder a lot of stuff back to the way it was before
(as though I did not take apart much of the SNES) so that I can test the SNES on the TV again to see if the SNES broke.

wait...I noticed many people talking about RF interference and shielding? could that be the problem? Would no shielding cause no video to appear?

well...if u mean the ground from the (spot 2) on the SNES connected to the ground for the LED mod on the PSone screen..then yes

For many of the topics, the people refer to doomportables.org, however, I have only been able to access that helpful site once, A LONG time ago, and now, when I click on the link, the site is not there anymore. Has it been relocated? or we will now have to do without?
