So..what does this do?
I was looking in www.doomportables.tk at the way they portablize the SNES system...
does anyone know why they replace the 7805 regulator with another one
called LF50CV? or (part# 511-LF50CV on http://www.mouser.com )
here is the link to the page where they portablized the SNES:

RF Interference
What exactly is RF interference (like were does it emanate or originate from?)
what are the traditional 'symptoms' from getting RF interference?
(for SNES if I need to be more specific)
and lastly, what can I do to prevent RF interference?

Because after I 'fixed' the video problem on the TV, by putting the shield back, I went to resolder all the wires and grounds to the screen again, but this time leaving the shield/heat sink (that the regulator was attached to ...

Ok...having been frustrated with this problem for awhile, I decided to desolder and resolder a lot of stuff back to the way it was before
(as though I did not take apart much of the SNES) so that I can test the SNES on the TV again to see if the SNES broke.

So is Doomportables.org....dead?
For many of the topics, the people refer to doomportables.org, however, I have only been able to access that helpful site once, A LONG time ago, and now, when I click on the link, the site is not there anymore. Has it been relocated?
or we will now have to do without?

Tested the SNES...sigh...the screen does not work
Obviously, I'm trying to make SNESp, except of my own custom design.
Im still using Ben's book as the backbone for the circuitry part (so its not totally different)
Being a very careful person, I always test the SNES to see if it works after every possible step I could possibly test it. Thus, I ...
