Also im having trouble finding 3mm white LED's with a wide angle would a 5mm not fit in the zanith screen?

So the 4021 IC is a regular chip??? I thought it was a private nintendo chip. i know a lot of companies do it so that no one else can make compatible parts except for them.

Well i have the snes controller and then i was ready to take it apart but when i saw how small the pins were i was a little discouraged if others think its possible i guess ill try its an extra controller anyway thanks for the info

thanks i really appreciate the help. if for some reason it doesn't work with Ben's design then ill use the schematic misjah gave me they r actually rather different but from experience i with other electronic circuitry theres always different ways to do it. i dont want to overpost and fill the ...

I have 3 questions for now...

1.what kind of LED's are needed as a back light Super bright? Regular LED's?

2. What would be better a narrow or broad angle (EX: 120, 45, 30, 15)

3. to make the controller pad from 2 NES 4021 IC's do i need to buy the original controller or will a knock off brand ...

I am planning to curve out the edges (slightly) and a will deff make holes (small ones but plenty for the speakers and place a mesh that comes with the zanith screen over the plexy glass so it looks nice. the only reason i am leaving the phone jack in that location is so i don't have to desolder ...

Does anyone have the schematics for a super nintendo mini,super nintendo controller, or a zenith ps2 lcd screen? Is there any way to find them? well i kept the original power supply and i dont think LED's would be bright enouph but a cathode tube looks like it would do the job perfectly. Should i just connect it to the power of the snes or would that drop the voltage/ amps needed to power the console?
