The lcd i'm modding is an Acer 24'... not exactly portable but rather a desktop display... i've yet to find someone that has tried this before...

hei... i like the idea... it would solve the problem with screen backlight uniformity...

I've been searching for a solution like this BUT my biggest problem is how to adapt my current lcd power source... it powers the CCFL backlight.... to powering these leds...


anyone?
