im confused on the video amp circuit. does the video out from the nes go to the amp circuit and then to the left board? In the book it isn't very clear since the amp circuit isn't in the same chapter as the rest of the project.

I've built the nes by hand and I"m having some trouble. the screen is working but there is only a black screen. I don't know what I did wrong.
