If you arent using the original case then you may have to worry that the cdrom lid switch is your trouble. dunno just a thought!

First attempt at hacking a madcats controller failed

I chopped the anolog controller PCB in half and re-soldered it together to get it into the correct location in the PS1P case.

Midway into assembly I decided to complete the wiring first and test the unit to see if the controller worked. It did not.

What do you mean by easier? Easier to portablize? Does anyone know if they accept dualshock controllers?
One more thing. Why doesn't anyone use the official sony battery pack? I know its kind of big but you can't beat 2-3hrs of play time for $16 (dealyard.com)
