I'm thinking of wiring a GC controller to use on my N64 (or just simply rewiring an N64 one to fit in a GC shell, either way), and I just figured that maybe I could get some advice.

Is it possible to fix the wiring so that the C-stick reacts like the original C-pad and the L and R buttons to react ...

Both good ideas. But the SNESp I like most was apparently a big hassle for the creator and I don't want to force him to go through trauma to make a second one.

As for the WTB thread, I may resort to that anyways. I actually need an N64p too.

Maybe you should add if they are making SNESp's for sale. Some of us who are too unexperienced to make them would still want to buy them from others who can.

Nope, as far as I know they don't. But I suppose someone could always fix that.

And by modchip I meant in the cartridge itself, not the system. Some kind of patch to replace the Yoshi's Island game within the cartridge with Star Fox.

I've got this undying itch to put Star Fox 2 (as well as the translating/debugging patch) on a real SNES cartridge, but I have no experience in this kind of hacking. I assume a mod chip would be necessary, but I'm hoping there's other ways. (Also, the cartridged hacked has to be Yoshi's Island ...
