no, that's the way i made them, it was just a improvise because nobody sells female connectors for the nunchuck, and the only other option was to destroy the cable to get at the wires from the inside.
nintendo can do better than that... come on... they're nintendo!

I know the transformer outputs 12 volts, ~3 amps max.
