yeah, retromaster got my NESp working through the pm system. I owe my portable to him.

my thought is that the heating element has broken somewhat.

this IS an old thread. I have found many book errors tho. one reason my NESp didn't work in the first place. then Retromaster informed me of a fuse on it that was in fact blown. I noticed errors with lableing too, but those have been corrected tho.....

try smelling it. usually when I fry something, it smells burnt.

continue the mod until you can turn it on, then if nothing happens, whip out your multimeter. usually the first thing to fry is the power source and ICs. (dont know if this is true or not...)
