Basically I take a standard IDE ribbon cable and molex extention cable and run it out a slot I made in the back of the PS2. THen I connect them to my drive cage. Nothing fancy. Straight through no pins crossing or anything like that.

PS2 hard drive question.

I've been using several 80GB drives in my PS2 to store all of my games and I swap them out when needed. I've gone through 3 adapters so far swapping drives (the solders on the IDE port give out after tugging on the drives) so I came up with an idea to get around this.
