Well, by all technicalities, I should be banned. But my ban basically worked on an honor system, where my account was unbanned.

Why contact them? What they are doing is fair game. You were using a known franchise without permission. Now, if you created a game LIKE Smash Bros with your own characters, it wouldn't matter. But the point is you are using things without permission.

It does make sense to change this to a general programming forum. As just GTP, its been quite inactive and can honestly be done in a superthread.
