Remote

This question is aimed at joedog again....

I have everything running, sandisk, screen, etc...

Think it's possible to power up the whole assembly with the sandisk remote... I.E. attach the screen's power to a place on the sandisk board where the power is activated when remote is used?

Working....Kinda

So I figured the regulator might not be providing the screen with enough juice from the 7.5V 1A adapter... I just tried hooking the adapter output to the screen input, bypassing the regulator circuit and VOILA! It worked, brightness controls worked and displayed on the screen etc etc.

Still no luck :P

I changed the connection for 7.5v from the existing connection to the pad marked 7.5v on the board. After switching the regulator on I got the same results: Screen/backlights flashed white for less than a second and then back to black, no backlight on, contrast/brightness buttons do not display ...
