Actually, I was mostly active in late 2006. Right as ShockSlayer (I think that's who it was) was finishing up one of his first portables.

Damn. Everyone beats me. :P So, again, screens? PS1 screens are crap hard to find. What are some (easier) screens to get a hold of?

# Break or create new records for the Guiness Book of Records. For example, how fast you can say the alphabet or how many beers you can drink in a day.
# Stand on your head long enough so that you can see funny colours in front of your eyes.
# Try to even up your non-dominant hand. Abuse it if it's ...

What's up everyone? I'm the longest active member here without actually finishing a portable! :P I hope to change that ASAP. I still have my working n64 guts. Now I need to get a new screen.

So, any truly epic portables that I have missed?

The blue light is on when there isn't a disc in. IF there is, it turns off.

Haven't been here in a while

Yeah yeah yeah, before you ask, my old portable is canceled. I fell into a depression and stuff, and now I see that I couldn't do the first one at that time. I have a couple questions.

1) Can the N64 3.3v line handle 3v?

2) If it can, what letter batteries can/should I use.

3) Here's what I'm ...

Instead of wasting a perfectly good Wii accessory, use a NES rpg controller like the ascii pad below. They're one-handed and relatively easy to find if you look in the right places.

Sorry for the bump, but for resistor one, I can't find 240, or a 390, can I just string some resistors together so it adds up to 240, and 390?

EDIT::: Can the PSone screen take only 6.98 volts? I found a configuration of resistors I have that gives that. Also, a 220(r2) and 360(r1) will give 3.3
