I just got mine up and running. Note to any other Newbies. Don't try to wire to the controller that came with the system (i tried that so I would still have a controller if it didn't work out) Wire directly to the main board .
You would have needed to cut the trace for the latch on the stock ...

Does anyone have a spare plastic face plate that surrounds the controller ports on the SNES?
