That would be a power joy two, my favorite. Just sorta do what I did and test every single wire to see if it has a video signal, a ground signal, etc. The power should be easy enough to find, since there is a regulator.

What gauge of wire is best for use in a portable? Specifically a noac portable using a hip gear...

my main concern was not how to get off the screw holes, but if it would be easy to work with a card edge connector that is so small, an entire NES cart would swallow it, even parts of the pins sticking out of the bottom.

What do y'all think?

Well, Here is my dilemma. I am building a NOAC portable and I want to have a good ol' 72-pin USA cart port on it instead of the japanese one. I have a Family Converter that lets me play US games on the super joy and I have a plain 72-pin card edge connector that would connect to the NES card edge ...

Yours dosen't work on 9v because you probably didnt bypass the 7805 regulator on board. If you do that, make shure you don't ever put 9V into it!
