Picture keeps blinking on Atari Flashback 2

I got an Atari Flashback 2 yesterday, and every five seconds of playing the picture blinks (no picture for one second, then a picture) Which is annyong because more than once i died in pitfall! Turning the thing on and off again dosent help with the problem. Any suggestions?

I know this sounds stupid, but how does one get power down to 7.4v, if an atari uses 9v? Would you need some type of resistor, or what?

I could work better using paper mache as an alternative to plastic, but still have an insternal wooden frame to support the paper mache.

Sorry to bump an old topic, but it could work if you make a mould of paper mache, paint it with a color, make button holes, and then put some layers (6) of bottled school glue on it. That way it would be water proof, and stronger. But it would take a day for each layer of glue to dry.

I already did a scale drawing, but it was with a 4 inch screen, instead of a 5 inch. So i will have to increase the size a little. I think (of the top of my head) that the dimentions are like 9 inches wide, 4 or 5 inches deep. Although to fit a cart, about 2/3 of the car would stick out the back ...

I was thinking of having the cartridge port gameboy style, at the back of the case with a 5 3/4 floppy drive cable.

I have been thinking of building a flashback 2 project. I have the joystick pinouts, I (almost) have a flashback 2, and I (almost) have a 4 inch pocket tv screen.
