lcd is 8.5V ( same as ps2 ) and 8watts ( if that matters )
I was saying the mah will determine the length of time that the device would be usable..the higher the mah, the longer the use...I figured with the PS2 and the lcd, the higher the mah, the longer I can use it....figured the lcd would drop ...

my question - will a normal 9v battery still power all of that, or do I need to get a different LCD?
