excuse my noobness, but if i install an NTSC PIF in a PAL console would this effectively make it ntsc ie. my PAL games will no longer work?

maybe i'd be better off trying to find a way to input composite to my screen

thanks for the reply blaze.. i see you're a fellow aussie.. I might try and butcher a RGB cable to test the screen before i go hunting for a RGB N64.. i wonder if the ntsc PIF chips are available online anywhere ie divineo

Hi Guys, I'm just starting my first N64 Portable project and am not sure how to hook my screen to my N64 console..

I live in PAL land so i believe that none of our consoles could output RGB.
