Anyone have a charger for the original DS? I know they go for about $10 but I really don't want to spend that much. SOMEONE has to have an extra one right?

Well its possible the screen can be dead.

What type of input are you feeding to the screen?
Have you tried the 5v input feed to the RGB side thats required sometimes for it to powerup.
