It's fairly simple to do, desolder the little yellow plug from the board, run the positive line to the middle hole and the negative to either hole beside it. It's fairly straight forward. The Ps2 slim should work with around 9.5v although I haven't tested ...

I don't know what revision ps2 it is, but that thing isn't gonna run your portable ...

What is the white wire for? And I'd need to see your charger and charging port before I could show you how to wire it, but the negative on it goes to negative on the battery, and positive to postive.
