ok, thanks for all he help, (well, most of it) i just called microsoft but they don't have any operators until 9am (7am right now)

so can anyone tell me how long it takes for microsoft to repair/replace it? as i understand it they post me the box to post it back to them, then they post it back to ...

i don't believe this. i've had my xbox 360 elite for over a year and never had ANY problems with it, it's been great, and now i turn it on to watch a dvd and bang, 3 red lights of dooky
