Which 80's Songs Are You Most Sick Of?
Figured I needed some sort of pointless topic, been awhile since I started one.
Let's all rant about which 80's songs we're most sick of. In my opinion, these would be the "cliched" 80's songs that get played the most on classic radio stations, bars, in movies, etc.
My picks:
Anything by Madonna
Tainted Love
Rock Me Amadeus
You Drop The Bomb On Me
Anything by Pat "Even Though She Made a Music Video With Bill Paxton I Still Don't Like Her" Benatar
Yours?

I agree with the Anti-Madonna remark. Why can't she just effiin' QUIT already?
I'm getting pretty sick of DEVO and Men Without Hats, because I hear them at school all the time. And I DO mean ALL THE TIME! People even have "Safety Dance" and "Whip It" RINGTONES!
-"Lasagna" by Weird Al. And of course ALL the Weird Al polkas. It doesn't matter when they came from, I don't like them one bit.

I would have to say the one that I am most sick of hearing is "Let's Go" by The Ramones. I used to like it, along with "I Wanna Be Sedated," but one of the radio stations that I listen to began playing both songs enough to the point where I now hate "Let's Go." For some reason I'm still okay with I wanna be sedated, but that wouldn't count toward this anyway, it's from 1977.
From the OLD ozforces forums
- Offenders will be bashed. Repeat Offenders will be repeatedly bashed.

Anything that sounds remotely close to "Pretty in Pink." This includes such bands as Flock of Seagulls, The Thompson Twins, Simple Minds, and, of course, the offenders themselves, The Psychadelic Furs. Heck, I might as well make it any band whose lead singer is over-accentuating his (real or faked) British accent.
And I'm with Ben on Tainted Love. Before the flood, I used to go to this bar in NOLA for "eighties night" with my future wife and every time they played this song crowds of people would get on the floor and do their best imitation of Molly Ringwald's dance in "The Breakfast Club." It was awful.
Oh, I should also mention that my HS Prom's theme song was "(Don't You) Forget About Me" (and I didn't even graduate in the 80's). Ugh.
