psx screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

No, the PSX is a version of the PS2 released only in Japan (maybe a few other places, but not the U.S. that I know of)

even though the "official" PSX is that japanese thingy, most people refer to the original (larger) playstation as the PSX, as opposed to the PSone.

any screen with external A/V inputs can be used with the PSX (there, i used it without even thinking) pretty easily. i dont think theres any products specifically designed for it though

No, there's not a screen JUST for the grey Psone. In Sony's eyes, the big PSX was dead by the time they started producing LCDs for the little PSone. And yes, PSX is used for the big grey playstation. No one in the USA should refer the PSX as that big white DVR type thing in Japan. Since we never got it, it was never adopted to the PlayStation family. You can buy a PSone LCD, take it outta the case, and connect the AV board for pure RGB from a big PSX, but mounting it, and/or hiding those wires will SUCK!
