in my nes the big black thing where u stick the cart in can i take that off and just have the connector and then put a gamegenie in it and then plug ll my games into the games genie?????
I did something similar when I made my top loading NES. I took apart the game genie, pulled out it's edge connector, and soldered that to the NES motherboard. I put it all in an ugly case, and now I have a top loading NES. Works great. I don't much care about game genie, so I felt no qualms about canibalizing mine for parts.
Jesus saves. Everyone else takes 20 points of damage from a fireball.
i wasnt gonna solder anything i was just gonna take the black thing out then jam a game genie on the connector then just put all my games in the game genie
Nothing you can do if you don't want to solder anything, but if you don't want to solder anything to your NES, you can always get two connecters and solder wires between them. That should, in thoery, work just fine.
