Use Krylon spray paint it's about the toughest stuff you can find without going pro.

Heres a how-to from my site:
How To Spray Paint

This is helpful if you want to change the color of your game system. A blah grey case can be turned neon orange with one can of paint.

1) Select a color. A darker color will hide marks and mistakes better than a light color. Also, a flat paint will hide mistakes, but shiny paint will show them. If you choose a light or metallic color, you might need to spray a coat of primer on before the paint.
2) Select a brand. I reccomend either Rust-Oleum or Krylon. Don't use cheap $1 paint, it won't last and it looks like crud.
3) Get a cardboard box. Preferably with a lid, but if one with a lid can't be found, a trash bag will work.
4) Remove any stickers or residue on the object using Goo-Gone.
5) Wipe down the object you are painting with a clean rag wet with rubbing alchohol. The alchohol will evaporate, leaving a nice clean surface.
6) Place the object in the card board box. Then blow on the object to get rid of any dust that might have gotten on it.
7) Shake the can of paint up and down, for at least 2 minutes.
8) Spray the paint with a side-to-side motion on the object. Spray about 12 inches from the object. Stop and shake the paint can every 10 seconds. Don't spray the paint on too thick or it will look bad.
9) Place the lid, or trash bag over the box. This is to prevent dust from getting in the paint.
10) Hold the can upside-down and spray the paint until only air comes out. This is to get all the paint out so that the nozzle wont plug up.
11) If some dust or something got painted over and it makes a "bump" on the paint, use fine, wet-sand, sandpaper to sand it smooth. Then put another coat on.
12) If the object needs more paint (and it will), apply another coat. Typically 2 to 3 coats will do it.

He probably put tape over those parts so they wouldn't be painted.
