Oh No
I have a few questions... I have not have time to work on my PSp before but now I started again. When i started to desolder some of the parts off the board there were these brown burn-like things... do they do anything bad to the motherboard? Also my shirt brushed the motherboard. Will this make it get ruined because of esd?

Just a little brushing by cotton-poly blend won't fry it. (maybe an n64 mobo, but that's beside the point.

my psone now works again now that i have resoldered everything and slightly modified it. Everything works perfectly except for the cd drive. I reconnected the ribbon cable and the cable thing . then i put a disc into the system and it took me to the mem card/cdplayer screen. when i did take off the cd drive i thouched the ribbon cable. is that why it didnt work?

There is a CD lid switch that you have to hold down for the game to play, otherwise it will take you to the memory card/cd player menuBucklihead wrote:my psone now works again now that i have resoldered everything and slightly modified it.
