Oh No

Post by Bucklihead »

I have a few questions... I have not have time to work on my PSp before but now I started again. When i started to desolder some of the parts off the board there were these brown burn-like things... do they do anything bad to the motherboard? Also my shirt brushed the motherboard. Will this make it get ruined because of esd?

As long as its not heavily coating the leads use a small knife or something to scrape it away. I don't think it conducts electricity but it is a pain when your trying to re-solder stuff.

Just a little brushing by cotton-poly blend won't fry it. (maybe an n64 mobo, but that's beside the point.)

There is a CD lid switch that you have to hold down for the game to play, otherwise it will take you to the memory card/cd player menu :)
