I know it's been done to death, and everyone knows how to do it, but I'm really quite proud of the fact that I had never opened a console before, and within 30 minutes, had a modded region & 50/60Hz SNES!
This is what I had:
1. Stock SNES PAL Control Deck
2. Lots of US carts
3. 10 or so JAP carts
This is what I wanted:
1. No horrible adapter
2. Where possible, a universal machine (or as good as)
I'd like to hear your feedback, I know that this is a simple (to some...) mod, but if you've never took a console apart before, can be a little daunting...
And THIS is what I ended up with (just waiting to widen the cart slot)
