i don't see why you would put it in a motorcycle (or whatever a suzuki katana is), it's not like you can play while driving

If it's "just for show", there doesn't NEED to be a point. He just wants it there to look cool, or maybe just for the challenge of doing it.

Payment in Pride

Post by teraflop122 »

You know a guy built a computer into a childrens coffin? The coffin had a sort of half top cover, so half of it could be raised for viewing the head of the corpse. A child could concievably get inside this coffin, close the cover, and still be able to use the computer. I don't know who would do that, and I'm not sure why he built it. I suppose he built it just because he wanted to, and for the Pride of completing the task.

Then there's all those people who build PC's into cars. They cannot use the computers while driving, besides maybe as really expensive MP3 players, and I'm sure they don't plan to sit in their cars for hours at a time just to access the computers. I guess they just build them because they want to. Pride of completing a somewhat original task fuels them.

I'm afraid that the only uncool thing here is the way some of you treat the ideas of others.

A PSone inside a motorbike is stupid and pointless, it won't be used, and a Carputer can be used at the same time as a Car.

Actually, not by the driver. I believe it is even illegal in some places to have the screen visible to the driver while they are operating the vehicle. same with vehicle DVD players...

Why can't you just accept that the guy wants to try it and leave it at that? I mean, some people could say the same thing about a portable SNES, since we have the GBA. We do these consoles for fun and novelty more than anything else, right? That kind of mentality is the exact opposite of what this board represents.

You could do this by moving up the windsheild area slightly and putting the ps1 into the gap between the windshield and gass tank the mount the lcd above the ps1 and then make the disk pop out of the front of the bike above the front fender that would be pretty cool.
