no it will not. most likely that is one of those small batteries that are really around 428mAh

He's correct. That's the exact one.

Have a look around at li ion cells online at batteryspace.com and the like and you'll get a feel for how big battery packs should be, that one is advertised as being far too small to be what it is advertised as being.

Thank you, I wanted to ask before I wasted money on a POS battery that won't work. I think I found it in a GameCube Portable Guide/FAQ. I'll look at the ones at batteryspace.com
