Can you still play online games

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

and can you play quake 3 online with 4 people on the same console. I want to know because I'm going to be getting one.

Are you talking about if you portablize it?

You'll need to include the network adapter and controller ports but yes.

i think there are still some online servers and some sites host online servers but i have no idea about how to get onto them :/

Short Answer: No.

Long Answer: Yes with some knowledge in Networking. You would have to use a private server on some games like PSO, but for Quake 3 there may still be an official server.
If there is no official server, you would have to figure out how to connect to a private server, which I have no knowledge of.

Also, it's not worth it. Nobody really plays online anymore and 56K fails.

theres several private servers for pso and wuake 3 doesnt need any modding. theres still servers but people usually play on the weekends for a couple rounds. sylverant is a good pso server. just remember you have to have 2 vmus. the one with the codebreaker codes (to connect to that server) in one vmu, load it then remove it, then insert the pso vmu and play, otherwise the game will screw you over.
