THE START OF MY PORTABLE REIGN!

Post by I FINALLY REGISTERED. »

went shopping in my sister's room.
got the goods.
screen came from a busted ps2 that wont save games anymore,
and now all i need to do is figure out how to run the whole rigg off of batteries, and build my case out of legos.
decided to use the third party controller due to positioning of d-pad.

decided that id rather build a modular unit, instead of hacking apart my n64, so basically all i really want to do is get the whole rig to run off of rechargeable batteries, and get atleast 2.5 hours of play.

*edit*
n64's cost $14 at gamestop, and a expansion(jumper) pack can be had for $20.

so if i come across $14 and another screen il frankenstein a 64p.

don't you think it's a bit unwise to build a case out of legos? by all means, try if you want, but i'd hate to see an N64 go like that...

by the way there is no apostrophe in the plural of N64 or any word like it.

Incorrect: several N64's

Correct: several N64s

sorry, my mom taught english and the grammar is in my jeans. it's in my genes too.

conversely one could say the store has several n64 in stock.

as the 4 gives a plural sound.

um, reardless of whether the "4" gives a plural sound, which it doesn't, it is incorrect.

eew.

Be careful with your wording, man! As far as grammar goes, as long as it's legible I say it's OK.

Speaking of plurals its lego not legos, like sheep you don't say "Hey thats a nice looking bunch of sheeps" and neither do you say "Hey thats a nice looking bunch of legos".

No, I'm pretty sure you add the S at the end of Legos, I have all my life, every one I know has done it as long as I've known them.

Nope. Lego is plural. Want proof? Search the lego website, not once does the word "legos" come up.

He speaks the truth, Lego is both singular and plural. There's a group of pedantic fans on the internet who will tar and feather any supposed 'fan' who says "Legos."
