OverClocking the GBA question

Post by Designer noob »

I have a 8.0 oscillating crystal and 12.0 crystal. I know that the 8.0 oscillating crystal will almost double the GBA speed, but will 12.0 destroy the GBA or will it be alright? I know that the 16.00 won't work with the GBA.

I want to play games like final fantasy and I hate the wait so, faster the better.

Be safe and use 10. That's what I'm doing.

well, I think I messed my GBA cartslot pins on the circuit board. So, if no one has tested 12.00 and I can't fix it I will for you guys.

All that's going to happen is it's going to crash.... maybe. Nothing is going to break.
