I was going to order some tactile switches from Digikey and I found out there is a lead time of 1 month Is there anywhere else to get these, am I doing something wrong on Digikey that is prompting the lead time, or should I just suck it up?

I found lots of tact switches by taking various electronic appliances apart.
I found eleven of them in my wifes stereo, found four of them in my alarm clock radio! But, now I can't listen to music or wake up on time!

I think they're even a bit cheaper! The actuator post (the button) isn't as tall, but if worse came to worse you could put a little dab of hot glue under the trigger/control disc to help push it.

I don't remember if it was tact switches, but I remember there was one thing you can take out of an old VCR.
