gameboy advance sp wont turn on

Post by dimefan90 »

i just bought a gba sp at a yard sale. it will not turn on or charge, i have taken the battery out and tested it in another sp and it works fine so the battery is not the problem. what else could be causing the console not to work?

it was $5 Australian, there was no charger so i couldn't test it, i thought it just had a flat battery, the case is in better condition than my other one though.

The fuses are probably dead.

Sorry to slightly bump this thread but I have a GBA SP with the same problem but would rather replace the fuse than just bridge it, so can anyone tell me what rating/value fuse I should be replacing it with?

Thanks in advance :)
