Got my Phoenix today!

And I'm duly impressed. A very nice piece of hardware. The only complaints I have are that the battery door very easily opens up and the buttons are a bit loose. But all in all, I'm very VERY happy!! Off to play some portable berzerk!! :D

VCSp systems 1-6 (one or two of a kind)

It looks as good or better than the pics. I got one of the textured ones, and I like it a lot, it looks very much like the black texture on the original console.

HK - I've also decided they are 'design features' ;)

Do these have difficulty and B/W switches or not. Many homebrews utilize these switches and it would suck not to have them.

VCSp Gold- has the best looking front from all of them. and that the battery door very easily opens up and the buttons are a bit loose are probably because he had rushed it.
I'm making a Gamecube portable.

Well, I've got a digicam around here somewhere. If I can find it I'll post some pics. But I warn you, I'm rather lazy and wont look too hard, heh. Besides, my pictures wont look any better than Ben's. If you want to know what it looks like first hand, I suggest you buy one. ;)

It doesn't have a B/W switch, and only one difficulty switch, probably the left one. Also, theres only the single paddle control, and it's always set to the leftmost paddle, so games that use the rightmost paddle in the left controller slot (Demons to Diamonds) you can't control. These things are minor to me though, the majority of games work excellently, and I get the sufficient ooh's and aaahhh's when I show it off lol.
